2018 Annual Grosvenor Dog Swim-A Huge Success

This years Grosvenor Dog Swim held September 3, 2018 in support of the animals recuse charity SCARS (Second Chance Animal Rescue Society) was a huge success.  The event raised over $1700 and a generous amount of donated items such as leashes, dog food, crates, collars, toys and so on…

I want to thank everyone that came out to support the event and SCARS as well as all the volunteers and City of St.Albert staff that were on site making the event a success.

This is the second year I have sponsored the event through the City of St.Albert and again it was the highlight of my year watching all the dogs and their owners having a ton of fun.

Photographer Larissa Mack of LMack Photography  was onsite taking complementary photos of people and their dogs, which seems to be growing in popularity and demand.  Some of the 4 legged companions were finding it very hard to contain their excitement long enough for the photo however most managed to make it work!

Have a look at this quick video of all the fun being had at the 2018 Annual Grosvenor Dog Swim

Make sure to mark your calendars for next years event even if you don’t have a dog or a dog that swims, it is still a sight to be seen!
